Daily Schedule
Day 1: Arrival in Kisumu
Arrival of guests and picking from the airport, check-in at Kisindi and refreshments, then precede to a bird-watching excursion, a walk along the lake shore, and engaging cultural activities.
Guests will then have some downtime, after which they will have dinner and participate in night watch.
Day 2: Lake Victoria – Kisumu Town
Morning bird watching followed by breakfast. Take a boat trip, enjoy sightseeing, bird watching, and explore attractions around Lake Victoria. Boat ride to Kiboko Bay Resort. Have lunch.
Rest and take optional nature stroll along the shores of Lake Victoria. Tour of Kisumu Town. Return to the hotel for refreshments. Rest. Dinner. Experience Kisumu at night. Sleep.
Day 3: Lake Victoria, Mfangano, and Takawiri Islands
Morning bird watching and breakfast. Drive to Lake Victoria Safari Village through Luanda Kotieno Ferry. Check in at the resort and explore the lakeside by walking or swimming. Lunch. Rest.
Tour of birds, the islands, Mfangano and Takawiri for bird watching, sightseeing, and immersing in local cultures. Rest. Dinner. Night watch.
Day 4: Lake Victoria, Mbita, and Kakamega Forest
Morning bird watching, stroll along the lake shore and nature exploration. Breakfast. Check out from the hotel and drive to Mbita for the ferry. Board the ferry. Drive to Kakamega Forest.
Lunch at Rondo Retreat. Relax and enjoy refreshments. Nature exploration and bird watching in the forest. Experience the sunset. Dinner followed by a forest walk and night time adventure.
Day 5: Lirhanda Hills, Kakamega Town, and Local Village
Morning nature walk and sunrise in Lirhanda Hills, followed by breakfast and a forest nature walk. Drive to Kakamega Town. Lunch and shopping.
Drive to the local village to witness local culture and bullfighting. Drive back to the hotel. Rest and refreshments.
Day 6: Departure
Final day of the tour. Departure arrangements and transfer as scheduled.

Luggage
Soft-sided bags only (max. H66 × L42 × W28 cm). Luggage space in safari vehicles is limited. Bags with wheels are permitted.
Photography
Bring binoculars and a good camera to capture wildlife and landscapes.
Participation
Guests may engage with local community initiatives along the route, experiencing conservation and education projects first-hand.
