Daily Schedule

Day 1: Nairobi

Arrival at JKIA, Nairobi. Transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay and welcome briefing.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve

Travel through Kenya’s fertile highlands and across the Rift Valley to Narok, passing landmarks like the charming chapel at the escarpment and the Longonot satellite station. Arrive in the Maasai Mara for lunch, then enjoy your first game drive as the sun sets over the savannah.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve

Start the day with an early morning game drive, returning to camp mid-morning. After lunch, set off for an afternoon safari, capturing the breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Mara. Overnight at a lodge or camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha

Depart the Mara after breakfast and journey across Kenya’s ‘breadbasket’ plains. Arrive at Lake Naivasha around midday, enjoy lunch and leisure time, followed by an afternoon boat ride to explore the lake’s diverse birdlife and hippos.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

Travel southeast towards Amboseli, arriving for lunch and a late afternoon game drive with views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Overnight in the park, surrounded by iconic wildlife.

Day 6: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park

Journey east across the Shetani lava flow, through scrub and acacia to Tsavo West. Enjoy an afternoon safari including a visit to Mzima Springs with its underwater viewing holes. Return to the lodge as the sun sets over this vast park.

 

Day 7: Tsavo West – Taita Hills Sanctuary

Morning game drive en route to Taita Hills Sanctuary. After lunch and a short rest, enjoy another game drive before evening leisure at the Safari Resort.

Day 8: Taita Hills – Mombasa

After breakfast, continue to the coastal city of Mombasa, reaching Diani for a late lunch and check-in at your beachside accommodation.

Day 9: Mombasa / Departure

Enjoy a morning at leisure before transfer to the airport for your departure.

Travel Tips & Information

Luggage

Soft-sided bags only (max. H66 × L42 × W28 cm). Luggage space in safari vehicles is limited. Bags with wheels are permitted.

Photography

Bring binoculars and a good camera to capture wildlife and landscapes.

Participation

Guests may engage with local community initiatives along the route, experiencing conservation and education projects first-hand.
