• Early morning departure from Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve (approx. 6-hour drive).
• Check-in at a lodge or tented camp within the reserve.
• Afternoon game drive to spot unique wildlife such as Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk.
• Guided nature walk and bird-watching with a knowledgeable ranger to discover the flora and fauna.
• Photography: Capture the stunning landscape and wildlife using the beautiful backdrop of Samburu.

Day 3

• Early morning game drive in Samburu National Reserve to see the “Samburu Special Big Five.”

• Activities: Afternoon visit to Lake Paradise, a crater lake surrounded by lush forest, for bird watching and game viewing.

Day 5

• Explore Marsabit National Park.
• Morning game drives to spot elephants, lions, and diverse bird species.
• Hike to the top of Gof Redo Crater for panoramic views and discover unique flora and fauna.
• Visit the Marsabit Lodge, which has historical significance.
• Back to the campsite for a bush dinner.

Day 6

• Visit Marsabit Forest to explore the lush forest and its unique ecosystem.

• Set up a desert camp or stay at a local guesthouse in Kalacha.
• Explore the Chalbi Desert.
• Visit the Gabbra people to learn about their desert lifestyle.
• Enjoy the unique desert landscape and a camel ride.

Day 8

• Travel: Drive from Chalbi Desert to Lake Turkana (approx. 5-6 hours).
• Check-in at a lodge or campsite near the lake.
• Evening visit to the shores of Lake Turkana, the world’s largest permanent desert lake.

Day 9

• Full day exploring Lake Turkana.
• Boat trip to Central Island National Park to see the active volcanic craters.
