Onyosi Newton Harrison

Onyosi Newton Harrison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and Natural Resources Management with IT from Maseno University. He has a strong academic background and a passion for community service and environmental conservation. He currently works at Angaza Vijiji as the Administration and Community Liaison Officer.

Newton previously worked at the Regional Water Resources Authority, Lake Victoria South Basin Area. This experience has provided him with valuable insights into the multifaceted aspects of natural resource management.

Newton is an active participant in community and environmental initiatives, coordinating with Angaza Vijiji to educate the community on the importance of natural resources, sustainable natural resource use, and community engagement in natural resource management. As a young person himself, he works to promote the engagement and inclusion of young people, especially young women, in AV’s sustainable development learning initiatives.
